Practicing Medicine in a Pandemic with Dr. Peter B. Stanbro

A Modern Man JD Ferrell

On this episode of A Modern Man podcast I sit down with Dr. Peter B. Stanbro to discuss his experience throughout the Pandemic. He talks about the thousands of patients that would have been without medical care if he wasn’t proactive with his thinking about his practice. Many specialties were suffering during the pandemic, but he managed to increase his staff and patient count. He discussed some of the barriers between insurance companies and giving patients quality treatment. He finishes the podcast talking about some of the legal changes that are allowing mid-level providers such as PA’s and Nurse Practitioners to be able to branch out and create their own practices in some states therefore minimizing a doctors credentials.
